Yesterday we had Hannah's (slightly late) birthday picnic at Portchester Castle. Hannah had the best day, we had cake, and games and a huge open space with trees surrounding it for all the children to explore. We were there for 5 hours with 40 of our friends, it was fantastic!

You are so lucky she has her birthday at a decent time of year for a picnic. I wonder how many of you would be up for it if we did a picnic for Sam's birthday in Nov.
