Catching Up

Ooops, I've missed a whole week of blogging so I thought I'd better do a bit of catching up!
This week we have :

Been to Staunton Farm to see the new butterfly house and visit the newborn lambs,

We've played lots of games of memory match - Hannah is getting very good at remembering where the pairs are. The game is called Children Of The World and each pair has a boy and a girl in traditional dress for their country, the name of the country and language and 'Hello' printed in their language. It really is a nice game.

I also showed Hannah how to play Solitaire with the British Wildlife playing card set she was given for Christmas. She picked it up really quickly!

Hannah has been practising her writing this week with her new fountain pen. We bought a cursive writing book for her to use as she really wanted to learn properly.

And there have been a few outdoor play sessions as well! The first in Chichester where we met up with some really nice home edding families, some we already knew and others we met for the first time. Everyone was lovely and Hannah had a fantastic time, and made some new friends.

The second was at our regular Wednesday Inside Outside group where Hannah and her friends ran races, played on the zip wire and made nests in the sand to rest in, funny girls!

And that was our week!!
